Separation Anxiety

It has been a while since I posted. But not because I haven't been busy.

I'm hand quilting the quilt I swore I wouldn't hand quilt.

I finished piecing the Olympic quilt.

Which left me with lots of delicious scraps to play with.

And I've done a lot of crocheting.

Mostly I've been dealing the work/life stuff that causes me to neglect my blog. I always manage to find time for a creative life. Just not the time to talk about it.

i've tried crochet but haven't stuck with it. i was working on a bag last winter that i planned to felt but i think my stitches where too tight and the bag is smaller than what the pattern called for...i might pick it back up this winter, who knows????

I love the scraps. Sew them together just as they are. They look great!

HAve you decided what to do with the fabric stipes? The colors are marvelous.

Yes I have decided what to do with the strips. And it has been a lot of fun. Right now they are on the design wall waiting to be fused. I'll post some pictures as soon.
